Richard Nemec is Member of the Council of Czech Film Fund.He works as lawyer specialised at copyright and media law as well.He has worked as producer of shorts, features, and documentaries.Richard is a member of the Czech Audiovisual Producers' Association(APA),which is member of FIAPF, CEPI and CFP-E.He founded distribution company Verbascum Imago,which specializes in the distribution of Czech documentary films and European arthouse in theaters,in 2010.He also produced the first digital restoration and HD transfer project in CZ - 18 documentaries by Czech legendary director Jan Špáta.Selected filmography includes:Burning(doc 2012),Outside(doc for HBO 2011),Vierka(doc 2005),The Devil Knows Why(fairy tale, 2003). Climbing Higher won the best feature length documentary price at BANFF 2016.
