Piotr Malecki is a photojournalist who started documentary filmmaking. For his first series of web shorts Piotr was awarded 2-nd prize Multimedia Photographer of the Year at the POYi 2012 contest in USA. His documentary “Out of the Blue” premiered at 2015 DOK Leipzig festival and received awards and international nominations at other festivals.
In his work Piotr focuses on projects showing the passion for life and lightness in every circumstances. Piotr finished Wajda Film School in Poland, studied photography in Bournemouth in UK and cinematography at the University of Silesia.
