Peri has been working in the field of documentary in Turkey since 1996. Since 2006, she has been designing and implementing workshops for documentary professionals, including, "Pitchin’Istanbul”, a project development workshop, a Documentary Distribution Workshop and a Youth Documentary Program. An active member of the Association of Documentary Filmmakers in Turkey (BSB) since its establishment, she has represented the organization at various international forums including Documentary Campus OTS, Medimed, Getting Real, and IDFA, among others. She a founding member of Istanbul Cinema Network (ICN), where she organizes training activities and industry meetings for documentary filmmakers to expand their international networks and increase their professional capacity.
