Olga Averkieva was born in Perm. In 2013 she graduated the documentary directing courses at the Perm State Academy for Arts and Culture, a workshop of Pavel Petchenkin. In 2011 she was the participant of Flahertiana Workshop-2011 film school. The same year she participated as the beginning director in Loukas Mudisson's master class at a theatre and cinema festival about the present "STRUCTURE". From a third year of a workshop of Pavel Pechenkin she actively worked as the manager, the assistant of a director, the film editor and the director with the Perm Filmstudio "Noviy Kurs". Also she worked on the Perm television. Olga is the organizer and the main coordinator of the Student competition of the International documentary film festival "Flahertiana".
