In 1997 she was awarded BA in acting. The same year she started postgraduate studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. In 2003 she was awarded MA in television and film directing. Since 2000 she has been creating films. Her documentary short “Mother” was successfully received on the continental Europe, among the awards received are from “Sleepwalkers” festival in Estonia, “Clermont-Ferrand“ festival in France and others. The documentary short „The Diary“ traveled into even more international festivals among the highest achievements it has been in the competition at IDFA for the „Silver Wolf” award.
