Oana Muntean has a background in Business Informatics and Project Management, having earned a Bachelor and Master's degree from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and having attended specialized workshops in Lille and Berlin.
Since 2009 has collaborated in various productions, only to fully dedicate herself to production in 2011.
As local producer she worked for several international productions: Médecines d'ailleurs: Roumanie (Bonne Pioche / ARTE), Les Oublies de L'Histoire (Les films du tambour de soie / ARTE), Vi kallas tiggare (SVT), A ciel ouvert (Lagardere / France 5).
She is executive producer of the feature documentary Cabbage, Potatoes and other Demons directed by Serban Georgescu, which premiered at Dok Leipzig in 2016.
