Mikhail Degtyar’s films repeatedly became winners of International and Russian Film and TV Festivals. Member of Russian Cinematography Union. Three times (1995,1997 and 2001) – winner of Russian Journalists’ Union prize for high professionalism. 2000 – winner of first National prize in non-fiction film and TV “Lavrovaya Vetv” (Laurel branch).2005 – winner of the “Russia’s Golden Pen” award, the highest award of Russian Journalists’ Union.Titled “Honoured cultural worker of Russian Federation“.Four-times winner of TEFI Award. Vice-President of Guild for non-fiction film and TV.
