Linda Matern born in 1961 in Frunze, USSR, studied Economics and Slavic studies. In 1991 she started working as a producer in Hamburg and Hanover. Today she works as an independent filmmaker and producer for documentaries, fiction, and commercials. In 1997 she founded the production company Bildschön Filmproduktion.
