Linas Mikuta was born in 1980, Klaipeda, Lithuania. In 2015 he finished his Master studies as Film Director at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. In 2013 Linas Mikuta presented his debut medium-lenght documentary Dzukija‘s Bull and short-length documentary Dinner. Both films participated in much festivals in Lithuania and abroad (including festivals as Leipzig DOK, Yerevan IFF Golden Apricot, Tartu anthropological film festival Worldfilm etc.). In 2013 at European film forum Scanorama (Vilnius) film Dinner was awarded as best Lithuanian short film. In the same year film Dzukija’s Bull got prize at Yekaterinburg documentary film festival Rossia for the Best Cinematography.
