Laurentiu Garofeanu is a 2017 Documentary Campus - Masterschool Alumni. He was born in Romania and has lived in London and New York City for the past 18 years. Laurentiu has been commissioned to film and photograph news coverage and human-interest stories for international news corporations and documentaries for leading television networks. His work spans over 50 countries and includes collaborations with broadcasters such as TLC, Discovery, National Geographic and CBS in the US and ITV, CH 5 and RTL in Europe.
Laurentiu is currently leading MEKANISM MEDIA, an independent production company based in Bucharest, Romania, specialized in producing feature length documentaries for the international market.
