Born in Russia, Kirill has moved to Germany 2003. In 2014, graduated from the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin and launched a production and world sales company Faktura Film. During studies Kirill has worked for various German and international film production companies, notably NFP, Ma.Ja.De Fiction, Atoms & Void NL, Film United CZ, and others as a junior producer. His middle-length film A Spectre Is Haunting Europe directed by Julian Radlmaier was shown in Oberhausen and at the Viennale and received the German Film Critic’s Award in the Best Experimental Film 2013. His graduation feature Proletarian Winter’s Tale, directed by Julian Radlmaier, had its world premiere at IFF Rotterdam 2014, was shown at the Viennale, Seville IFF, Ljubljana IFF, Basel, FICUNAM Mexico.
