Jelena Jeremejowa was born and raised in Kiew. In 1994 she came to Germany and finished matura 2001 in Essen. That followed a journalistic apprenticeship in the Danube University in Krems, Austria, where she was dealing for the first time with the media film. Later she collaborated with several tv and radio stations as an editor. In 2004 Jelena started her studies at the Filmakademie Baden Württemberg as director specified for documentaries. She finished in 2011 with her diploma "The Serious Side of Life". During her studies she recieved the Friedrich-Ebert scholarhip. Today she lives with her family in Stuttgart.
