Juergen Kleinig was born in Heidelberg in 1970. After graduation in biology, he was director of the newly formed Marco Polo Archive in Halle. Since 2011 he has managed Celluloid Fabrik with Tina Leeb. In 2016 he founded the Neue Celluloid Fabrik. In the past years he produced several acclaimed documentaries for TV and cinema. Among these 10 Billion – whats on your plate?, the most successful cinematic documentary in Germany in 2015, Shalom Italia 2016 and the multi-award winning Muhi - generally temporary in 2017.
