Iulia Matei (1991, Cluj-Napoca) graduated the Cinema and Media department of Theatre and Television Faculty in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. At the moment, she is an MA student in Documentary Filmmaking at the same university. During her time spent in school, she took part in different film workshops and masterclasses, the latest one being Aristoteles Workshop 2013.In 2011 and 2012 she worked as a video editor for TIFF (Transylvania International Film Festival) and in 2013 started her collaboration with FilmSense (http://www.filmsense.eu/), a cultural website. Her main interest is documentary filmmaking, her films being selected and screened in different festivals worldwide.
