Hanne Biermann started as an apprentice at the renowned German publishing house Suhrkamp and graduated from Bauhaus University Weimar with a degree in media studies. She continued her career towards film, working for DokLeipzig festival and in art house cinema.
Hanne joined Deckert Distribution as festival manager in March 2019. She works as a freelance film journalist and was part of the Thessaloniki-Locarno Industry Academy in 2019.
