Georg Tschurtschenthaler studied economics and communication sciences in Vienna. After working as a business consultant he started his career in the film industry where he worked for five years as a freelance producer for documentary and fiction films. Since 2009 he works in the Berlin office of gebrueder beetz filmproduktion as creative producer for documentaries and interactive projects. In 2013 he was awared with the Grimme-award, the most prestigious German TV award, and in 2014 he was nominated as producer for the International Emmy Award for the project “The Wagner Files”. He regularly acts as tutor at Zurich University of the Arts/ CAST, HFF Potsdam, etc.
