Erika Hníková (1976) is a documentary filmmaker and journalist.
She graduated from the Department of Documentary Film at FAMU with the full-length documentary "The Beauty Exchange" that was released in Czech and Slovak theatres. Her documentary "I Guess We'll Meet at the Eurocamp" was screened at many festivals, including DOK Leipzig and Hot Docs.
Her documentary "Matchmaking Mayor '' had a premiere at Berlinale Forum section in 2010 and received an Audience Award. Her latest full-length documentary film Every Single Minute, was premiered at Karlovy Vary Film Festival in August 2021 in the Crystal globe competition.
