Erik Norkroos was born on October 1, 1969 in Tallinn Estonia. He started working as a camera assistant in Tallinnfilm Studio between 1989-1995, he tried to combine photography with a different paint techniques as a freelancer. After graduating the first film school in Estonia (known today as Baltic Film and Media School) he has been working as director of photography and related to more than 60 films, mostly documentaries. He has been collaborating with different audio-visual artists in shooting and editing their video and working as producer and director winning awards with his short films.
