Elene Margvelashvili is a film producer and cultural entrepreneur, a recent MA graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London and Chevening scholar. In 2014 she founded Parachute Films, an independent film production company based in Tbilisi, Georgia focusing on author-driven feature and documentary films intended for international audiences. With national support for 5 feature films, Parachute Films demonstrates the diversity and quality of new Georgian film. Elene is an alumnus of Maia Workshops, Midpoint Feature Launch 2019, Rotterdam Lab 2020 and Producers Network 2020.
