Barbora Ligasová graduated from Film Studies and Audiovisual Culture and English Language and Literature at Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. Directly after her graduation in 2015, she joined the team of Czech Film Center, the division of the Czech Film Fund, which promotes Czech cinema and the local film industry abroad. She takes care of the promotion of Czech feature films at international festivals and presentation of Czech cinema at various film markets.
