Barbara Héger graduated at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest in film history and film theory. After spending one year in France at Sorbonne (Dep. of Cinema Studies), she started working as production manager and the producer’s assistant at Campfilm, Hungary. Working closely with producers Sára László and Marcell Gerő, she had the chance to get a glimpse into the development, production and distribution phase of documentaries made not only in national but also in international co-production: “Cain’s Children” (prod.: Campfilm-JBA Production-ARTE France, co-prod.: HBO Europe) directed by Marcell Gerő. Currently she is working on “Harm” (dir.: Dénes Nagy, 52’ documentary for HBO Europe, produced by Campfilm) as production manager and develops “Styx” by Zoltán Füredi as junior producer.
