ARASH T. RIAHI, born in Iran, moved to Austria in 1982 as the son of political refugees. In 1997, he co-founded the production company Golden Girls Film. As a director & producer, his work has received over 100 international awards. His first feature drama FOR A MOMENT OF FREEDOM received 31 international awards and was the Austrian candidate for OSCARS in 2010. His second fiction feature OSKAR AND LILI - WHERE NO ONE KNOWS US won 20 national and international awards, amongst others the audience award at Max Ophüls Festival and five awards at the Austrian Romy-Award. Since 2010 Arash has worked as a script advisor for the MEDIA supported programs SOURCES 2, Nipkow, Berlinale Script Station, EDN, Jihlava Institute for Documentary, DocIncubator and DocElevator.
