Czech documentary filmmaker, writer and journalist. She studied at the Department of
Documentary Film at FAMU (the Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in
Prague). Since 2014 she has worked as an editor for the online daily A2larm, as well as
being a regular contributor to Salón Práva and a commentator for the public broadcaster
Czech Radio Plus and the online daily Aktuálně.cz. She is engaged in socially critical
documentary. Her film The Limits of Work won the prize for Best Czech Documentary of
2017 at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, where it also won the Audience
Award. It went on to win the Czech Film Critics’ prize Mimo kino [Beyond Cinema] as well as
being nominated for the Czech Lion national film awards in the category Best Documentary.
